Our Royal Oak Chilli Competition returns this June, and we’re inviting local chilli lovers to put their recipes to the test.

Whether it’s spicy, smoky, slow-cooked or a closely guarded family recipe, we’d love to see what you can create.

Entries will be judged later in the afternoon, with bragging rights and the title of Royal Oak Chilli Champion up for grabs.

Not entering? Come along anyway, enjoy the atmosphere and sample some of the entries as the competition heats up.

Expect plenty of chilli, a few cold drinks and a great afternoon at the pub.
